Arts at Carthage
Carthage Fine Arts strives to provide high-quality, accessible, and affordable arts programming and outreach experiences for both the Carthage community and the greater Kenosha area through diverse and masterful performances, which encourage innovation, economic development, and educational opportunities.
Speakers Series
Business and Professional Coalition Speakers
Carthage’s Business and Professional Coalition serves to convene members of the local business and professional communities around relevant topics that promote learning, conversation, and relationship-building, in order to lead to a stronger and more vibrant community. Through programming that includes prominent guest speakers, the Coalition provides a space to engage in substantive conversations that further the region’s growth and prosperity.

Interfaith Speaker Series
Carthage’s Center for Faith and Spirituality is intentional about lifting up voices from different faith communities and frequently invite guest interfaith speakers to campus. Past speakers include Dr. Amy Jill Levine (2016), Dr. Eboo Patel (2017), Dr. William Cavanaugh (2018), and Dr. Rahuldeep Gill (2019). We continue to be committed to this work and look forward to inviting other scholars to Carthage in the future.

The Natural and Social Sciences Research Colloquia features guest speakers from Carthage and institutions around the world, speaking on a wide variety of topics in the natural sciences. Events are open to the public.

Spotlight on Sports
The Spotlight on Sports Speakers Series brings prominent sports industry leaders to campus to speak to students and the public. The speaker series is made possible through the Sam and Gene Johnson Distinguished Visitors Program and the Chapman Executive-in-Residence Program. Past speakers include Caron Butler, two-time NBA All-Star and assistant coach of the Miami Heat; Peter Feigin, President of the Milwaukee Bucks and Fiserv Forum; and Craig Leipold P’19, Owner of the Minnesota Wild.

Visiting Writers Series
Carthage hosts acclaimed writers from across the country in its Visiting Writers Series. Curated by Writer in Residence Richard Meier, in recent semesters the series has welcomed more than a dozen great fiction writers and poets, including Anne Waldman, Danielle Evans, David Trinidad, Kate Greenstreet, Duriel Harris, Danielle Evans, Padma Viswanathan, Geoffrey Brock, Lisa Fishman, Julie Carr, Jared Stanley, and Catherine Theis.
